Resident hospitalized after fire at St. Petersburg home

ST. PETERSBURG — One person was hospitalized for evaluation following a house fire Thursday morning.

Rescue crews responded to the first at 2533 18th St. S around 5 a.m.

The unidentified resident was alone in the home at the time of the fire, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
