TAMPA — Fireworks started a blaze that left $50,000 in damage to a home Sunday afternoon, fire officials said.
Just before 2 p.m., firefighters were called to 2503 E. Lake Ave, according to Tampa Fire Rescue. Crews put out the flames in about 20 minutes.
The Tampa Fire Marshals Office believes that fireworks launched across the street from the house caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
