Authorities looking into West Tampa fire

Tampa authorities are investigating a fire at 1912 W Union St. that caused about $5,000 in damage but no injuries.

When firefighters arrived shortly after 9 a.m. Monday, they found light smoke coming from the building and quickly put out the fire.

The Tampa Arson Task Force is investigating.
