CLEARWATER — The Red Cross is assisting a group of residents whose apartment building went up in flames early Saturday, authorities said.
Clearwater Fire & Rescue was called at about 1:45 a.m. to a two-story building at 1170 Sunset Point Road.
Everyone had gotten out safely, and firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the first floor.
Three units sustained about $15,000 in damage, officials said. Nine people were displaced.
The fire is under investigation.
