Dog rescued from house fire

Fire damaged a home and led to a dog getting rescued Sunday afternoon, police said.

According to St. Petersburg police spokesman Mike Puetz, the fire broke out around 4 p.m. Sunday at 1990 66th Ave. S. Investigators are determining the cause of the fire, although it appears to have been caused by an electrical problem.

No one was injured.
