Early morning fire burns Pinellas Park home

PINELLAS PARK — Firefighters from Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue battled a blaze early Wednesday at a home in the 1000 block of 108th Avenue N.

A St. Petersburg Fire Rescue spokesman said it was not immediately clear whether the single-floor home was occupied when the fire started or whether anyone was injured.

He said the fire was under control about 7:40 a.m., and investigators were at the scene.
