PALM HARBOR — Fire officials were investigating an early morning fire Tuesday at Frontier Village Mobile Home Park.
A double-wide mobile home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived around 3:35 a.m. at 30700 U.S. 19 N. No one was home at the time. The fire was first reported by a neighbor who saw smoke and flames coming from the residence.
"I'm sure it's going to be a total loss," Palm Harbor Fire Rescue spokeswoman Elizabeth Monforti said.
Firefighters from the Dunedin Fire Department also responded to the blaze, Monforti said.
The fire was extinguished by around 4 a.m. The cause of the incident remained under investigation Tuesday morning.
