Fire destroys vacant Odessa home

ODESSA — A vacant two-story house was destroyed when it caught fire early Wednesday.

It happened about 3 a.m. at 8432 N Mobley Road near Gunn Highway (map), according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. No one was injured.

It took about an hour and 45 minutes to put out the blaze, Hillsborough Fire Rescue officials said.

Westbound Mobley Road remained blocked from Gunn Highway to Hammond Elementary School several hours later.

No other details were immediately available.
