TAMPA — A blaze ripped through a restaurant in a two-story strip mall early Friday, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.

No one was injured.

The fire broke out at Petra Restaurant, 4812 E Busch Blvd., about 12:30 a.m. Firefighters got the call at 12:37 a.m. and were at the scene within three minutes.

They called in extra fire crews because of the size of the building.

It took about 40 minutes to control the blaze, which did about $90,000 in damage.

The fire was accidental, according to investigator Joe Hotz of the Fire Marshal's Office.
