SEFFNER — Firefighters continued Saturday evening to tackle a blaze that began in the early hours of Saturday morning inside a recycling plant. The plant at County Road 579 and Bessie Dix Road burned for more than 13 hours as nine firefighting units attempted to extinguish it, said Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. No one was inside the plant when the fire was reported at 5:42 a.m. and no injuries have been reported. Water is being used to douse still burning sections of the plant. State fire marshals will investigate to determine a cause and asses the damage after the fire is out.
