Firefighters extinguish tire fire at Riverview welding shop

RIVERVIEW — Hillsborough County firefighters extinguished a blaze Wednesday morning at a Riverview welding shop involving tires.

The call came in about 9:15 a.m. from 78th Street near Falkenburg Road. Four fire engines responded, and firefighters quickly brought it under control, according to Hillsborough Fire Rescue reports.

One person might have suffered minor burns, but no one was hospitalized.
