Firefighters put out mobile home blaze in Odessa

ODESSA — Firefighters extinguished flames at a double-wide mobile home Friday morning, officials said.

The call came in at 8:22 a.m., and firefighters battled the blaze for about 30 minutes. The home at 14832 Balough Road, off Jonquil Lane, was unoccupied.

Firefighters were still investigating the scene at 9:30 a.m. and had not determined what caused the fire.

Seven units and 14 firefighters responded to the blaze, said Pasco Fire Rescue Chief Mike Gordon. He did not know the extent of the damage.

No further information was available.
