Firefighters rescue man from overturned car in Pinellas Park

PINELLAS PARK — Firefighters rescued a man from an overturned car Tuesday morning.

A pickup truck crashed into another car near the entrance of the Home Depot on Park Boulevard, said Gary Berkheimer, a Pinellas Park Fire spokesman. The pickup overturned.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life and other extrication tools to remove the roof of the truck. The man was expected to survive.

No other details were immediately available.
