No one injured in duplex fire near Temple Terrace

TAMPA — A fire in a duplex near Temple Terrace left no one injured but put four people out for at least Tuesday night, authorities said.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue got the call from 10400 Davis Road about 8 p.m. Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 20 minutes.

One man who lived in the unit where the fire started was able to exit safely. His unit sustained severe damage, Fire Rescue said. Three adults in the adjacent unit, which sustained smoke and water damage, also exited safely.

The American Red Cross will be helping the four people with food, shelter and clothing, Fire Rescue said.

There were no details Tuesday night on the fire's cause.
