One person treated for smoke inhalation after late-night Clearwater fire

Clearwater firefighters quickly cleared a house fire they believe started in the home's kitchen Thursday night.

Crews were called to 2173 Riviera Drive just before 11:30 p.m. The fire spread to the attic, firefighters said, and it took 35 crew members about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.

One resident was treated at a local hospital for smoke inhalation. Firefighters said they aren't yet sure what caused the fire.
