Pasco firefighters rescue dog that fell in septic tank

HUDSON — A dog that fell into a septic tank early Tuesday was rescued by firefighters.

Pasco Fire Rescue received the call from a woman just before 5 a.m. at 15303 Mornay Drive.

When firefighters arrived, they found the dog, weighing about 60 pounds, trapped inside an open septic tank about eight feet below ground in a neighbor's yard.

The dog was pulled out of the tank, fire rescue said.
