Six cars burned in Hard Rock parking garage fire

TAMPA — Six cars in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino parking garage sustained major fire damage Monday afternoon when one became engulfed in flames that spread, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.

The agency said firefighters doused the fire in about 10 minutes. But by that time, other cars parked nearby also had been burned. The garage was evacuated and no one was injured.

The Seminole Tribe's police department and the fire marshal's office will conduct an investigation into the fire, the county fire agency said.
