Tampa Fire Rescue crews battled a fire early Thursday at a home in the 2600 block of E Emma Street.
A spokesman said approximately 30 firefighters arrived about 3:45 a.m. to find the one-story, vacant home fully engulfed in flames.
It took crews about 20 minutes to control the fire. The home was extensively damaged by fire, smoke and water, the spokesman said, and the home next door suffered minor damage.
Fire marshals are investigating the blaze but have not determined what caused the fire.
