Train, semi crash in Tampa

TAMPA — A train and a truck collided late Monday, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.

The crash was reported at 11:17 p.m. at 2021 Maritime. The train, which derailed, was carrying fuel, and the semitrailer truck was transporting ash, Tampa Fire Rescue said. The contents did not spill.

No injuries were reported. The crash was under investigation.

No further information was immediately available.
