Vacant house fire an arson, Tampa investigators say

TAMPA — Investigators say the fire that caused $20,000 in damage at a vacant home on E Shadowlawn Avenue on Saturday was an arson.

Firefighters arrived to douse the flames at 1908 E Shadowlawn Ave. at 2:03 p.m., according to Tampa Fire Rescue. No one was inside the single-story house and no one was injured.

Tampa Fire Rescue said it took 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
