TAMPA — Hillsborough County health officials have issued an advisory for Ben T. Davis Beach after finding high bacteria levels in the water.
People should stay out of the water until the advisory is lifted because of the risk of getting sick, officials said.
Samples of enterococci bacteria and fecal coliform taken Monday were above the state standard. The same warning was issued Oct. 22 and lifted Oct. 28.
Health officials will test the water again at Ben T. Davis Beach, on the Courtney Campbell Parkway, next week.
