Hillsborough sheriff's detectives searching for bank burglar

TAMPA — Detectives are asking for the public's help in the search for a man suspected in three bank burglaries since Saturday.

Hillsborough County deputies say the man broke into three banks in early morning hours, while they were closed. The banks have not been able to determine what, if anything, the suspect took, according to the Sheriff's Office.

At 3 a.m. Saturday, he broke into the Bay City Bank at 18315 U.S. 41 in Lutz.

Early Monday, he broke into the Bank of Tampa at 15302 Amberly Drive.

And on that same morning, he broke into the Heritage Bank, 28909 State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel, according to deputies.

Investigators ask that anyone with information call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
