Human remains found in Plant City woods

PLANT CITY — Police removed human remains from a wooded area in eastern Hillsborough County late Tuesday.

A call came in about 6 p.m. reporting that someone had found human bones on E Alsobrook Street, near Douglas Street.

Investigators have not determined the person's age, gender, race or cause of death.

No further details have been released.
