Largo police search for 77-year-old man with Alzheimer's

LARGO — Police are searching for a 77-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer's disease who has been missing since Thursday night.

Charlie Burns, 77, is white, 5 feet 10, about 155 pounds and has gray hair.

He was last seen at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday riding a rusty tricycle in the area of 2000 East Bay Drive, police said.

Burns was wearing khaki-colored pants and a green, yellow and white collared shirt.

According to family members, he is wearing a dog tag-like necklace that has his personal information on it.

Anyone who has any information about Burns' whereabouts is asked to call Largo Police at (727) 587-6730.
