DADE CITY — A man who was found severely injured on U.S. 301 north of Dade City early Saturday has been placed on life support, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
Dylan Garland, 25, was found near the intersection of U.S. 301 and Globe Road at about 2 a.m., authorities said. He was last seen leaving the Lighthouse bar in Hernando County about midnight, and was likely walking home, deputies said. Garland was taken by helicopter to Lakeland Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of Garland's injuries is still under investigation. As of Monday morning, he was being kept on life support so his organs could be harvested, the Sheriff's Office said.
