CLEARWATER — A 19-year-old man was treated for injuries after he jumped off Pier 60 into shallow water early Tuesday.
A marine unit responded and found the man, whose identity had not been released early Tuesday morning, near the bottom of the pier.
The man appeared to be under the influence and said he was "depressed," according to Clearwater Fire Rescue spokeswoman Elizabeth Watts.
He was taken to a local hospital and evaluated, Watts said.
