Marijuana plants found inside Largo business

LARGO — Pinellas sheriff's deputies said they found 174 marijuana plants growing inside a Largo business during a raid last week.

The cannabis plants were found during a search of the Corvette Doctor at 12855 Belcher Road last Friday, according to a search warrant filed by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's deputies confiscated the cannabis plants along with several other items, including three computers, three air-conditioning units and a ladder.

No charges have been filed in connection with the raid.

"It's still an open case," said sheriff's office spokeswoman Marianne Pasha. "Charges are a potential."
