Missing 85-year-old man from Palm Harbor assisted living facility found safe

Pinellas County deputies say Harold William Hoffman walked away from the Stratford Court assisted living facility at 45 Katherine Blvd. in Palm Harbor around 2:30 a.m.

PALM HARBOR — An 85-year-old man who went missing from an assisted living facility early Tuesday was found safe several hours later.

Harold William Hoffman was found sitting on a guard rail at East Lake Road and Tarpon Woods Boulevard on Tuesday morning.

He had been missing from the Stratford Court assisted living facility at 45 Katherine Blvd. since about 2:30 a.m.
