TAMPA — More than 2,000 Tampa Electric customers were briefly without power Wednesday morning in Tampa's Northeast Macfarlane neighborhood, according to the company's outage map.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's office said about 6:30 a.m. that crews were en route to the area. Power was apparently back up by about 7:15 a.m., according to the company.
No further information on the cause of the outage was immediately available.
