TAMPA — Part of southbound 40th Street will remain closed starting today as workers repair a water main break.
The street will be shut down for traffic at the intersection of River Hills Drive. Traffic will be detoured at Greenwood Avenue and south onto Lakeshore Drive to Hanlon Street, officials said.
Repairs were expected to be completed later today, but the street won't reopen until 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
