NEW PORT RICHEY — Pasco County sheriff's deputies arrested 31 people on Tuesday in a massive countywide narcotics sting.
Undercover deputies in the agency's vice and narcotics unit rounded up several suspects who had sold them methamphetamine, crack cocaine or marijuana in their investigations. The majority of the suspects were charged with selling prescription pills. Doctor shopping also was prevalent in the list of charges.
Deputies made arrests in nearly every city in the county, east and west sides. Some cases had been under investigation since June.
By late Wednesday afternoon, many of the suspects still remained in the Land O'Lakes jail.
