Pasco deputies search for missing New Port Richey 80-year-old

NEW PORT RICHEY — Pasco sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help to find an 80-year-old man who was reported missing Wednesday.

James Shedden, of 9666 Noble Court, was last seen by family members at his residence on Wednesday around 10 a.m., according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

He was there when they left to go to the store, deputies said. But when they returned, Shedden was gone and so was his gold 2010 Toyota Sienna minivan. Deputies believe he is driving the minivan, which bears Florida tag 719-WIE.

Shedden has been diagnosed with cancer and Alzheimer's, deputies said. He requires medication and deputies consider him an endangered adult.

Anyone with information about Shedden's whereabouts should call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office at (727) 844-7711.
