SOUTH PASADENA — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup truck Monday night, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Richard Thomas Ford III, 23, of St. Petersburg was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with multiple fractures and internal injuries.
Deputies said Ford was crossing Gulfport Boulevard S near Pasadena Avenue S about 9:45 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle belonging to Frank Buffa. Ford was not crossing in the crosswalk, according to the Sherriff's Office.
Buffa, 79, was headed west on Gulfport Boulevard S.
No charges have been filed.
