Bike-riding teen boy knocked over by car

A 14-year-old boy was knocked over on his bike by a slow-moving car Wednesday morning outside Northeast High School, according to police.

Officers responded to the school about 6:45 a.m. Police said the driver, a 16-year-old student, was exiting the property, and the boy was riding east on the sidewalk of 54th Avenue N.

His injuries were not life-threatening, investigators said, but he was taken to All Children's Hospital so doctors could check on him.

No further information was immediately available.
