Police: Death of pro-wrestler Mike Graham likely was suicide

The Oct. 18 death of former talk radio host and pro-wrestler Mike Graham was most likely a suicide, according to a report from the Daytona Beach Police Department.

Graham, 61, of Indian Rocks Beach, whose real name was Edward Michael Gossett, was in Daytona for the motorcycle enthusiast event Biketoberfest when his wife found him with a what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head, police said. She told officers she had left after having a fight with Graham, and heard a shot.

Graham once held the National Wrestling Alliance and American Wrestling Association light heavyweight titles at the same time in the 1970s. He worked with famed wrestlers Dusty Rhodes and Dory Funk Jr. during his career.

The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive.
