CLEARWATER — Police are seeking help to identify an armed man who they say robbed a Publix liquor store Sunday afternoon.
The man walked into the store at 1921 N Belcher Road around 3:45 p.m. He took a liquor bottle to the register, where he showed the cashier a small silver handgun and demanded cash, police said.
He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and a bottle of Southern Comfort, according to police.
Detectives described the suspect as a white man around 50 years old, standing 5-foot-4 and weighing 135 pounds. He was wearing all black.
