TAMPA — Three 15-year-olds were rescued from an overturned boat off Bayshore Boulevard Sunday evening, according to the Tampa Police Department.

They were found clinging to the side of the boat about one mile south of MacDill Air Force Base, police said.

Authorities took them ashore safely without injuries at about 6 p.m.
