Authorities are hunting for a prisoner who escaped from the Tarpon Springs Work Release Center on Friday.

Anthony Pruitt, 22, was last seen at the state-run facility on Brady Road about 8:30 p.m., the Tarpon Springs Police Department said Saturday. A search that included dogs and a helicopter failed to turn up Pruitt.

He has black hair, brown eyes, a flame tattoo on his right arm and a tattoo on his right hand that includes flames and "727."
