Propane gas leak at Hillsborough High is under control

TAMPA — A gas leak at Hillsborough High is now under control. Students and faculty members were allowed back in by 2 p.m.

A propane cylinder outside the school's cafeteria started leaking Tuesday, and students and faculty members were evacuated to the football field shortly before 1 p.m., Tampa Fire Rescue reported.

No one was injured, said fire rescue spokesman Bill Wade.

The school is at 5000 N Central Ave.
