DUNEDIN — Firefighters were at the scene of a small sinkhole Thursday afternoon.
The road collapsed near 1311 Powderpuff Drive in Dunedin about 1:30 p.m., the Dunedin Fire Department said. The sinkhole, which measures 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep, did not appear to be expandin.
Fire officials said there were no injuries or home evacuations.
City workers checked the underground storm drainage and sewer pipes and found the pipes were intact. Workers were scheduled to begin filling in the sinkhole Thursday.
