CLEARWATER — The main sewer line serving the community of Sand Key burst Tuesday afternoon.
The line runs along Gulf Boulevard, and repairing it could impact traffic for several days, officials said. The northbound lane of Gulf Boulevard is now blocked.
Public utility crews from the City of Clearwater were working to restore the main, which ruptured about three-quarters of a mile south of the Sand Key Bridge.
It was not immediately clear how long the repairs will take.
