Signs seeking tips in girl's killing to appear along Courtney Campbell Causeway

To generate tips about Felecia Williams, the 9-year-old Tampa girl who was killed earlier this month, law enforcement agencies will post messages this weekend along the Courtney Campbell Causeway.

"There are still a number of questions in the case," said Temple Terrace Police Chief Ken Albano, whose department is working with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on this initiative.

Portable message boards will be stationed along the causeway, officials said.

Felecia disappeared May 16 and her body was found the next day by rocks and mangroves near the causeway. Investigators said they want to speak with anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity during that time.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa and the FBI are offering a $13,000 reward. Anyone with information can call the Temple Terrace Police Department at (813) 989-7110.
