St. Petersburg Police: Body of man in his 30s found in pond; foul play not suspected

ST. PETERSBURG — The body of a man was discovered floating in a pond in Fossil Park, according to police.

The body was found about 11 a.m. in the water near 233 Northwest Monroe Circle N. According to St. Petersburg Police reports, the body was removed from the water and appeared to be that of a man in his 30s.

Detectives were investigating the incident, but police said that foul play was not suspected. The man's identity was not released because police had not yet notified his family.
