Suspecting gambling, deputies seize 59 computers at Dunedin internet cafe

DUNEDIN — Suspecting internet gambling activity, sheriff's deputies obtained a search warrant and seized 59 computers at a Dunedin internet cafe Thursday.

The deputies entered The Talk-N-Surf, at 1075 Main St., about 5:45 p.m., according to Pinellas County Sheriff's spokeswoman Cecilia Barreda. They took the computers but made no arrests.

Barreda said the computers would be analyzed and any charges would be filed if gambling activity is discovered.

The investigation was still active and open as of Friday evening.
