PINELLAS PARK — Bomb squad investigators determined that a "suspicious device" found at a Pinellas Park home Tuesday afternoon was a spent artillery round, police said.

About 4 p.m., officers responded to 10248 Oakhaven Drive after receiving reports about the device. They notified the Tampa Police Bomb Squad.

The residents of the home were evacuated. Police believe the spent round was left behind at the house by a previous tenant.
