TAMPA — Police divers recovered a body from the Hillsborough River on Tuesday.
A report of a body floating in the river near the W Columbus Drive bridge was called in at 5:17 p.m., according to Tampa police.
Police sent the dive team to the area. The body was recovered near the North Boulevard Bridge.
The body is that of an adult male, but police did not release any other details. The body has not yet been identified and police cannot yet say whether they suspect foul play.
