TAMPA — Those who receive reclaimed water from the city will see their service interrupted Tuesday morning, Tampa Water Department officials said.

System maintenance will begin at 7 a.m., according to department reports, and should be complete by 3 p.m., at which time the water will start running.

About 4,900 customers in the city use reclaimed water for irrigation, cooling and industry. The water is treated at the Howard F. Curren Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant on Hooker's Point.

The Department advised customers to make necessary adjustments in preparation for the service interruption.
