TAMPA — A break in a main water pipe at the Bank of America Plaza prompted building officials to close the high-rise for business Wednesday.
The leak affected the elevators and toilets of the 42-story building at 101 E Kennedy Blvd. in downtown Tampa. Besides the bank, the tower's tenants include business and law offices and the Tampa Club.
The building's management was unsure Wednesday evening whether the tower would be ready to re-open Thursday.
