Woman dies after being pulled from burning Dade City home

DADE CITY — A woman died in a house fire that took place early Tuesday on Southview Avenue, according to Pasco Fire Rescue.

Fire, police and state fire marshal officials are investigating the blaze, which started about 6:30 a.m. A passerby told a Dade City police sergeant about the fire, and the officer pulled a woman out of the home that caught fire along the 37800 block.

Authorities did not release any other information about the fire, and did not release the name of the woman who died.
