TAMPA — A woman with dementia who went missing Friday afternoon was found Friday evening on a bus, police said.
Evella Bryant Cooper, 49, was last seen about 1:52 p.m. Friday walking away from Central Tampa Assisted Living Facility at 5010 40th St. N. She was found about 8:33 p.m. on a HART bus in downtown Tampa. The driver called Tampa police because she would not exit the bus, police said. Cooper was unharmed and officers took her back to the assisted living facility.
